Our client is a global software company behind a powerful low-code development platform purpose-built for mission-critical applications across industries such as banking, manufacturing, and enterprise ERP/MRP environments. Their platform is widely respected for its transactional integrity, multi-database compatibility, and modern front-end capabilities — including web, mobile, and API integrations. With a flat structure, flexible culture, and long-tenured team, the company has built a strong foundation in APAC and is poised for further expansion.


Role

As the APAC Account Manager, you will lead account management and strategic growth efforts across a defined territory that includes Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Taiwan, with potential involvement in mainland China and Japan. Your core mission is to engage and expand relationships with existing customers while building a strategic account based new logo pipeline, helping them modernise and migrate legacy systems .

This is a remote-based role, with some international and domestic travel (approx. 5–6 overseas trips per year), including biannual visits to the European HQ for sales events. Reporting directly to the Global Customer Care Director, you will work closely with local technical experts and the APAC VP to identify upsell opportunities, support resellers, and strengthen local market presence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop trusted relationships with mid-tier and enterprise customers, focusing on long-term partnerships.

  • Drive pipeline growth through strategic market mapping and lead qualification.

  • Collaborate with resellers (VARs) to build their capability and support co-sell motions.

  • Join customer meetings with local technical experts during the first 12 months; no deep tech knowledge required initially.

  • Help produce and execute account plans, QBR's, across a strategic list of 20 valued and mostly long standing customers across APAC.


You

We are seeking a commercially savvy professional with a background in account management, customer success / customer service or inside sales – ideally from a tech/software background. You are confident leading customer conversations, able to operate autonomously in a remote setting, and committed to building deep product and industry knowledge over a 3–6 month onboarding period.

You likely have:

  • B2B experience in software/technology or complex solutions.

  • Excellent business communication skills in English; other Asian languages (Cantonese, Malay) are a bonus.

  • Australian work rights and full international travel eligibility, including Malaysia, Taiwan & Europe.

  • Passion for customer care and solution-selling in a strategic partnership sales environment

  • Interest in how software modernisation, databases, and enterprise platforms deliver business value.

  • Technical aptitude – you don’t need to code, but you should be curious about how innovative software platforms support business transformation.
